The Gym facilities can be easily accessed by the students on two times in a day, i.e., Morning (6:00- 10:00 AM) and Evening (05:30-10:00 PM).
Sports are taken seriously at SBU. The fields/courts on campus include Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Tennis, and Volleyball.
Indoor sports facilities are available in the students’ residences like table tennis, carom, chess, foosball etc.
Through sports, students are able to accumulate a whole host of skills and abilities. Leadership, teamwork, confidence, and self-reliance are a big character focuses. Critical thinking is developed on the playing field as athletes need to quickly solve
problems created by their opponents. Time management, a skill necessary in adulthood, is also brought into play as students learn to balance their time between college work and sports.
Swimming is a good all-round activity because it keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body. SBU provides additional facilities on campus, students at SBU have access to swimming pools with proper training.
